Landscape Installation 

We design and build from start to finish, as well as working with landscape architects. Because we value strong design, we collaborate with other designers, prioritizing accuracy and sensitivity to their vision and aesthetic preferences throughout the installation process.

Hardscape

4th generation Santa Barbara masons install our flagstone patios, rock walls, and all forms of stonework, paving, and smooth, poured concrete projects. We take pride in creating custom outdoor kitchens, fire pits, water features, benches, and other one-of-a-kind elements.

Fruit Tree Care

We are passionate about fruit tree care. Bonnie, an arborist, and her tree care specialists have been tending to backyard orchards and fruit trees since 2012, when she and consulting arborist Bill Spiewak created Headstart Tree Training. She has led local workshops, demonstrations, and helped hundreds of folks in and around Santa Barbara tend to their fruit trees, whether it be pruning, feeding, irrigating, or pest control.

Large Tree Installation

A large, mature tree can instantly add a strong sense of place and soul to a home. Family Tree & Garden has over a decade of experience installing large trees- from mature olive trees to a wide range of shade and specimen trees to larger fruit trees in challenging locations, like steep backyard slopes.

Lighting

During the final stage of the landscape installation, it’s time to consider illuminating the space for evening outdoor living. High-quality, LED fixtures positioned effectively create safe pathways and steps, and highlight beautiful elements of the landscape– the structure of a tree, fountain, stonework, or other favorite feature.
